Processing Times
At Mel's Crafty Corner, each item is personally handcrafted with care by me, Melanie. As a small business creating custom apparel and accessories, please note these important processing times:
Apparel Orders: All apparel orders require 7-14 business days for processing before shipping. This processing time includes:
- Creating your custom design
- Preparing the garment
- Quality checking
- Packaging your order with care
Non-Apparel Items: Most accessories and non-apparel items ship within 3-5 business days.
Bulk/Team Orders: Please allow 14-21 business days for processing larger orders.
Important Note: Processing time is the period BEFORE your order ships. After processing, additional time is needed for shipping transit (typically 5-7 business days within the US).
Shipping Methods & Timeframes
Shipping Carrier: All orders ship via USPS or other preferred providers from our workshop in Wisconsin, USA.
Domestic Shipping: Once shipped, orders typically arrive within 5-7 business days.
Total Timeline: Please expect a total of 2-3 weeks from order placement to delivery for apparel items (processing time + shipping time).
Tracking: A tracking number will be provided via email once your order ships. You can follow your package's journey through the USPS tracking system.
Shipping Rates
Standard Shipping: Rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
International Shipping
Mel's Crafty Corner is excited to ship to select areas worldwide! For international orders:
- Shipping is available via USPS or DHL Priority Mail International
- A 10% processing fee applies to all international orders
- International customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by their country
- If packages are declined or returned due to customs issues, refunds will be processed for the order value MINUS the international shipping cost
Shipping Carrier Responsibility
Once your order is shipped, delivery timing and handling are managed by the shipping carrier. If you have specific tracking inquiries or delivery concerns after your package has shipped, please contact the carrier directly with your tracking number.
If a package is marked as "delivered" by the carrier but you haven't received it, you'll need to file a claim directly with the shipping carrier. While I can't be responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after delivery confirmation, I'm happy to provide any documentation needed to help with your claim.
